TERMS OF BUSINESS
This page (together with the documents expressly referred to on it) tells you information about us and the legal terms and conditions (Terms) on which we sell any of the products (Products) listed on our website (our site) to you.
These Terms will apply to any contract between us for the sale of Products to you (Contract). Please read these Terms carefully and make sure that you understand them, before ordering any Products from our site. Please note that before placing an order you will be asked to agree to these Terms. Please click on the button marked “I Accept” on the order form if you accept them. If you refuse to accept these Terms, you will not be able to order any Products from our site.
You should print a copy of these Terms or save them to your computer for future reference. We will not file a copy of the Contract between us. We amend these Terms from time to time as set out in clause 8. Every time you wish to order Products, please check these Terms to ensure you understand the terms that will apply at that time. These Terms were most recently updated on 11th November 2019. These Terms, and any Contract between us, are only in the English language.

2. Our Products
2.1 The images of the Products on our site are for illustrative purposes only. Although we have made every effort to display the colours accurately, we cannot guarantee that your computer’s display of the colours accurately reflect the colour of the Products.
Your Products may vary slightly from those images.
2.2 Although we have made every effort to be as accurate as possible, all sizes,
weights, capacities, dimensions and measurements indicated on our site have a 5% tolerance.
2.3 The packaging of the Products may vary from that shown on images on our site.
2.4 All Products shown on our site are subject to availability. We will inform you by email as soon as possible if the Product you have ordered is not available and we will not process your order if made.
2.5 You acknowledge that our Products are designed for domestic/occasional use only and do not use commercial grade canvas or other materials. They are not suitable for long term use or as a permanent dwelling.
3. How we use your personal information
We only use your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy

4. If you are a consumer
This clause 4 only applies if you are a consumer and not purchasing our Products in a business capacity.
4.1 If you are a consumer, you may only purchase Products from our site if you are at least 18 years old.
4.2 As a consumer, you have legal rights in relation to Products that are faulty or not as described. Advice about your legal rights is available from your local Citizens’ Advice Bureau or Trading Standards office. Nothing in these Terms will affect these legal rights.
5. Your Order and Delivery
5.1 To place an order for any goods you should follow the procedures set out on the website, and it is your responsibility to ensure that all details of any order are complete and accurate.
5.2 Life Under Canvas will accept your order by e-mail confirmation and our message will also confirm details of your purchase and tell you when we shall dispatch your order – that is when our contract is made.
5.3 Each order will be an offer by you to purchase goods subject to these terms and conditions. We will not be bound to supply any goods ordered until we have notified you of our acceptance of an order.
5.4 We will accept your order by e-mail confirmation and our message will also confirm details of your purchase and tell you when we shall dispatch your order – again, that is when our contract is made.
5.5 We are within our rights to reject any order and will notify you of any such rejection.
5.6 Goods will normally be delivered within 7 days of receiving your order and full payment. We will contact you by email if delivery is likely to be delayed beyond these periods, giving you the option to cancel your order. Please read our delivery policy for more details.
5.7 We may deliver the goods in instalments if the goods are not available at the same time for delivery.
6. Payment
6.1 Full payment for any goods ordered must be made by credit or debit card at the time of ordering, or by a cleared cheque in advance of delivery.
6.2 You must pay the full price of your order before we send any part of it. we do not offer credit.
6.3 All prices are in UK pounds sterling. We will reserve payment from your card at the time we receive your order. The conversion of your currency to UK sterling may be subject to exchange rate fluctuations.
7. Availability and Pricing
7.1 All goods are advertised for sale subject to availability. In the event of us being unable to supply the goods ordered, for whatever reason, we will inform you as soon as possible and offer an alternative, of equivalent quality and price, before we dispatch your order giving you the option to accept the alternative we offer, cancel your order or leave the order valid but tell us to omit the out-of-stock item.
7.2 Should substitute goods not be to your reasonable satisfaction, we ask that you return the goods to us at your expense. If you have already paid for the substituted goods or any goods that are not available then a full refund of the purchase price will be given.
7.3 All prices are in GBP (Pounds sterling £). We try to ensure that the prices indicated on the website are up to date and accurate. However, we accept no liability for any errors and omissions and the final price of goods is the price in force at the time of us accepting your order.
7.4 If a product has been listed at a lower price by mistake and you have ordered that product, we will inform you as soon as possible and give you the option to either reconfirm your order at the correct price or to cancel it. If we are unable to contact you we will treat the order as cancelled. If you cancel and have already paid for the goods, a full refund will be issued.
8. Life Under Canvas Products
8.1 The customer is responsible for insuring the proper use of all Life Under Canvas Ltd products, and Life Under Canvas Ltd does not accept any responsibility for any liability to any party for loss or damage incurred through the use or misuse of any of our products, how so ever and for what ever reason caused.
