Fitting a stove in your tent will give you a great heat source and it also means you can cook whatever the weather. A silicone flashing kit is a vital piece of kit, as it seals around the flue pipe and secures it to the canvas of your bell tent.
The 45° silicone seal is supplied with a pre cut oval clamp suitable for use with our Bell Tent Stoves. It is heat resistant to 300° and is better suited for use with the larger tents as the angle of the flashing kit holds the flue securely in place in the canvas.
This flashing kit is also suitable for use with other stoves with larger flues up to 150mm in diameter. The silicone can easily be cut to the correct flue diameter using the markers on the silicone itself.

We recommend using a stove thermometer when using your bell tent stove. This is a great way to indicate how hot your stove is and will stop it reaching temperatures that could potentially damage your flashing kit. A stove thermometer can also help you reach maximum efficiency and optimise fuel consumption from your bell tent stove.

All Life Under Canvas stoves are suitable for use in any of our fire retardant bell tents with stove hole.
Due to its smaller structure, our mini stove is the perfect size for our 4m bell tent. Please note that we do not recommend the use of a stove simultaneously with an inner tent in our 4m Bell Tent.

For the secure use of a stove inside your tent, it is essential to use a flashing kit. This kit ensures the flue pipe is properly fastened to the canvas. It consists of a heat-resistant silicone opening which enables the flue pipe to pass through the roof of the tent safely, allowing the smoke and fumes from the stove to dissipate into the open air.
You will also need a heat proof mat to protect your groundsheet from any sparks that might fly out of your stove.
We recommend lighting it at a low temperature, either outside the tent or inside when you are not in there. This allows any fumes from manufacturing to be removed off before use.
